SUSTAINABILITY
At Standbuilder we acknowledge our responsibility as individuals towards the well-being of our planet and strive to ensure its preservation for future generations. Our approach is straightforward:
We utilise ethically sustainable materials, practice recycling and up-cycling, and minimise landfill waste.
Our standard structures are available for rent. This not only provides excellent value to our clients but also minimises waste generation. In addition, we’ve adopted eco-friendly practices such as using reusable crates and pallets for transportation, instead of one-time use cardboard or temporary crating. Additionally, we repurpose old fabric graphics into packaging bags for our rental furniture, eliminating the need for plastic bubble wrap and shrink wrap.
Besides our material choices, Standbuilder has made substantial investments in electric-powered vehicles for deliveries within London. This initiative not only reduces the harmful air pollution associated with diesel transport but also empowers clients to confidently monitor the carbon footprint of their event-related activities.
We actively donate reusable elements from our exhibition stands, such as carpets and furniture, to organisations that depend on charitable contributions, such as Churches and allotment growers in our local community.
As industry experts, we champion concepts like designing for reusability. We encourage our clients to consider environmental factors when creating their marketing materials, enabling any surplus to be repurposed for multiple events.
